Dr. Doom is a supervillain from Marvel Comics and a long-standing archenemy of the Fantastic Four. Victor von Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr., has spent his life mastering both science and sorcery, and is obsessed with bringing order to humanity through world domination and proving his intellectual superiority over Mr. Fantastic, his longtime rival from college. It is Fantastic Four that Doom blames for his disfigurement in a laboratory accident. Doom wears a metal mask to hide his scarred face and a magically forged armor suit that grants him superhuman strength, flight, and high-tech weaponry. Just how much damage will he wreak in the epic film set to premiere in late 2026: *Avengers: Doomsday*, starring a plethora of Marvel’s most iconic characters ever to grace the comics and the screen.
